The TV news did not describe the accident in detail, but it sounds from the description like a right hook.

The good news is that it was reported as something the driver did wrong, and he "may" receive a ticket. One hopes he F#*&#ing WILL receive a ticket.

The rider was treated for injuries. Severity was not reported, but that would seem to indicate they were not maiming or life threatening.cafiendhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05749761363337659545noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9241204.post-9702841107354293722010-05-18T04:06:24.398-05:002010-05-18T04:06:24.398-05:00"By pedaling we give some people the impressi..."By pedaling we give some people the impression that our schedule and destination do not matter" How true. I was sore tempted yesterday - when a Big Expensive Car pushed past unnecessarily, very fast and very close - to discuss the finer points of this when I inevitably caught them up. I would have pointed out that I was, in fact, going to arrive before them and at a guaranteed time and all their driving style was likely to achieve was a validation of their intelligence quotient, a higher bill for fuel and the background research needed to write a critique entitled "Traffic Lights and Jams of London, the Finer Points". I would have left out the bit about the stress causing their early demise, as I didn't see the problem with that. I didn't, but it was close.Hamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17182921009517833997noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9241204.post-9650398914858326612010-05-17T20:33:44.114-05:002010-05-17T20:33:44.114-05:00I'm afraid I agree - with you.
