You might mention to the customer that if the bike is ridden instead of put on a roof rack, it can't fall off the rack going up a steep hill.
It was a rear rack and it was after a ride previewing a triathlon course. The bike isn't purely a rack ornament. I just thought it was funny how impact with the ground = might need adjustment to hubs, gears and brakes.
